For unlimited plans, all communication will be done inside of our project management software (Notion). For single-purchase items, you'll receive communication from us at the email used in the order submission page.

For Unlimited Plans, you'll also receive a monthly video call to talk through strategy and any upcoming ideas.

In order to get the most out of Things By Things, we ask that you include as much detail as possible about your request in our web form, which you will receive after purchase. At Things By Things, we aim to have an easy, asynchronous experience for both sides and that requires well written requests and feedback.

All payments are due before any work can begin. Due to the nature of our work, refunds are not available. For unlimited plans, you have the option to cancel at any time and your service will end at the end of your plan billing cycle.

For Unlimited Plans, credit cards are charged automatically at the start of the billing cycle. It is client's responsibility to update their account and other information, including email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete transactions as needed.

For single-purchase items, our timelines are 30 days and include 1 round of changes.

For our unlimited plan, we aim to have all requests ready to review in 7 days or less. Some requests may be done in as little as one day. Inside of our project management software (Notion), you'll be able to see an estimated time of delivery for each request and see what requests are in-progress at any moment.

For best results, we recommend checking in at least once per week to make sure we have a list of things to work through that are prioritized correctly AND any needed feedback is provided to our team.

Client owns full rights to use the deliverables as delivered. They’re yours to post or embed wherever and whenever. Television, Trade Shows, Social Media, etc… No limitations. Made By Things retains ownership of

• The working files used to create the deliverables.
• Any concepts that are used/unused to create the deliverables.
• Any inventions, ideas or discoveries made during the creation of deliverables.

While you own the full rights to the deliverables, we retain the rights to use them on our own portfolio, in marketing material, in publications or to submit to competitions (only after the project is made public by you). We also have the rights to use client’s name in marketing and promo material based on approval of specific usage by client.

If we're not allowed to use any of the deliverables or information listed above for marketing for any reason, it MUST be provided in writing.

All products on this site are listed as a flat fee. If a change in the product scope is requested, additional fees will apply. That may include additional revision rounds requested, expanded product scope or rushed delivery.

If there are any additional fees, we’ll let you know before the additional work is started. All additional fees must be approved in writing/email by client before it’s added to the project fee. No surprises.

Sometimes, there’s things that happen out of our control that may lead to a delay or cancellation of the project. These things include tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, zombie apocalypses, power outages, vandalism, fire...Pandemics 😑, etc… If either of us are affected by an “Act of God”, then we’ll try our best to complete the project within reasonable amount of time given the circumstance. In some cases, we may have to cancel a project.

Client is legally entitled and authorized to use any material provided to Made By Things and is not in violation of any copyright, trademark, tradename, or other law regulating the use of the material.

For some projects, we may use the help of contractors. They will act on our behalf as part of this agreement. We take full responsibility for the quality of their work.

If we’re not supposed to talk about anything related to your company/trade secrets that we may learn, let us know before project starts, we’ll gladly sign an NDA.

If for whatever reason we have a disagreement we're unable to resolve on our own, all parties involved in this contract agree to participate in mediation. The cost of mediation will be shared equally between all parties.

This agreement is subject to interpretation and enforcement under the laws of Ohio.  Any legal action or mediation must be taken in Franklin County, Ohio. ‍

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Made By Things and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
